Systems-led Leadership Course

We are living in complex times, and complex times require leadership tools for complexity. Our old tools of linear management are no longer fit for service. We all need a leadership upgrade. Join us to accelerate yours.

This 5-week online course will be part introduction to systems and social innovation tools and mindsets and part self-reflection and leadership program. Each of the online sessions will start with an introduction to a systems or social innovation tool followed by a chance to use that tool to reflect on your own life. You might use the tool in the context of your work, or you might apply it to your wider life experience, as you see fit. If you are looking to better understand systems tools or reflect on your life in a systemic way, then this course is for you, and if you are psyched to do both, then welcome to the cohort!

Course Schedule –

  • Nov 4th – Systems-led Leadership Philosophy & Creative Tension
  • Nov 11th – Intro to Complex Systems & Berkana Two Loops Model
  • Nov 18th- Multi-Level Perspective & The Rolok Model
  • Dec 2nd – Impact Gaps Canvas & the 5Rs Model
  • Dec 9th – Theory of Systems Change & Course Wrap Up

The course takes places Wednesdays from 12-1:30pm Mountain / 2-3:30pm Eastern / 8-9:30pm Central Europe (though first session starts at 7pm Central Europe time due to the European time change being one week earlier). If you are unable to join a session, you can watch the recording afterwards.

NOTE: This is the fourth time I am running this course and I keep adjusting it and improving it each time. My intention is to record the course this time and turn it into an evergreen course that is asynchronous, so if you want to take the course live with me, now is the time.
