Social Entrepreneurship and Systems Change

Course Type: Executive Education course, run for three years 2016-2018
Participants: Social sector leaders with decades of experience, mostly from non-profit and social enteprise sector (75%), several government department officials and public sector related agencies and state-owned enterprises (10%), several foundation senior staff (10%) and private sector corporations (5%). Now over 100 alumni. In 2018 we have had 11 participants from 11 different countries, mostly across African continent, but also from Middle East, India and USA.
Curriculum / Agenda: The visual shows the combination of theory on systems approaches, cases on systems change, panels addressing themes on power and participation, advocacy, coalitions, and government partnerships, with a strong focus on individual reflection (through mentorship circles and resilience sessions) and organizational evolution (through a systems change canvas approach)
Pricing: About 25% pay full price, raised donor for significant 25-75% discount for about half the class, 3 reserved free places for local community organizations in Philippi
